It's been a while since my last posting I know. I promised myself I wouldn't let the blog be neglected, but the last year has been a roller coaster ride and it doesn't seem as though its going to end anytime soon.
RAW, the Readers Appreciation Weekend in September was a huge blast. The slumber party and Masquerade ball was simply wonderful. There were a few glitches, but over all, I think everything went very well.
My special thanks go out to Lorie O Clare and Jessica Beard for all their wonderful help in making the event a success. And all the ladies that pitched in, stuffed tote bags and worked tirelessly to help out, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We couldn't have done it without you.
Personally, my life is moving along I guess. I'm busier than I've ever been in my life as I try to get everything together but I think I'm making headway in the chaos. At least I hope I am.

Now, onto the good stuff.
I hope you all enjoyed the release of Mercury's War. Mercury had a very special soft spot in my heart, the gentle giant, the man who had accustomed himself to being alone, and now he's alone no more. From the moment he showed up in The Man Within, I adored him, and I hope you came to love him just as much.
I hope you also enjoyed Christmas Heat, my novella in the Christmas Cat anthology.
Noble was such a sweetie, and I thought Haley was the perfect match for him. I very much enjoyed writing their book.
The release of Only Pleasure in January 09 will see the story of another character that I've become quite fond of. Chase Falladay was an unexpected addition to the Bound Hearts series, but one that I was excited to write. His heroine is Kia Stanton. You may remember her from the first books as the wife of another member who had begun the rumors of the 'Trojans'.
Kia divorced her deceptive, calculating husband, and now two years later, she has a chance to see the world she had rejected with another man.
Acting as Chase's third is Khalid, another long time character that I've come to love. Khalid was more than just a wonderfully supportive third, but he played a part in Kia's past that I hadn't quite expected until he spoke the secret in my ear.
ONLY PLEASURE was a joy to write, and of the series, I think this might be my favorite, until I actually start Khalid's book.
If you want to know more about ONLY PLEASURE, here's the blurb that goes with the book and I hope to have an excerpt up soon.
Until then, happy reading to you all, and I hope this year, has seen your greatest dreams come true.

Blurb:
Since Chase Falladay came to her rescue two years ago, Kia Stanton has never been able to forget the powerful man or the kind of life he leads. So two years later when she runs into Chase and his friend, Khalid, and leaves with them that night, she knows exactly where it is all heading. However, little prepares her for what it is like to be in Chase’s arms, and in his bed. After years of holding back, Kia is finally able to be the woman she’s always dreamed of being in his arms.
Kia is a dream Chase has not allowed himself to entertain. Now that he has her, it’s her heart he’s after and he’s determined to win it, no matter the cost. And even though they both agreed that it would only be for pleasure, somewhere along the way it becomes and all-consuming love.

And soon, I'll have an excerpt for your reading pleasure.

Lora! It's good to see you here. I know life must be stressful, and I wish you the best.

Mercury's War was wonderful, but then I'm partial to your stories so may not be completely objective. Christmas Heat was very nice as well.

Can't wait for the rest you have coming up.

Lora, I have become an obsessed fan of yours. I love the Breed series , the Nauti series and have started on some of the Bound series. I actually have to stay away from picking up your other series b/c I am one those readers that will not put a book down until I am done. I just finished reading Mercury's War and I LOVED it. So many parts were very interesting and brought on so many more questions. I loved that you gave Jonas a real heart in this book. I know he showed it a tiny bit in Harmony's Way but the way he mourned for Ely was so warming. I hope you do his book soon and I really want to know more about Cassie. You give us these sweet little tastes in each book about the more popular characters and I think "Yes" the next one will be about so and so, and then "Wham" a whole new character gets brought in. I do look forward to Coyote's Mate, I do remember these two brought up in one of the other Breed books. I am going to have to go through them and figure out which one b/c it will drive me crazy.
Thanks again for your amazing books and the friends that I have turned onto your books thank you too.

Lora! I too am very happy to see you back in the blogs. I read Merc's story and loved it, as I do with all of your stories. I agree with Nicole on the comment about Jonas and the way he was toward Ely. I find my self trying to play detective with him, he is my favorite character in that series. I really, really cannot wait till his story comes out. The anticipation is crazy, but I guess that makes it all the better. I have also be eagerly anticipating Only Pleasure as I have been waiting for more on Chase. He was a great character. He seemed to have an undercurrent of strength and honor, his book will no doubt be amazing. Thank you for all of your hard work on your stories, it makes for a lovely and exciting retreat.

Lora!
I have read everything you've written! I can't wait for the next Bound book and am so glad you've decided to write Khalid's story too. He has fasinated me since he was first introduced.
I wait with bated breath to see what you do with Jonas and his story! Will his mate turn out to me Ely? Or will his mate be a bit like him, but fast on her feet? As she will need to be to attract his attention!
When will you be finishing the Wizard Twins series? And can't wait for the the next Nauti release!
Thank you for all the hours of enjoyable reading you have given me. I told a friend about your books and now she's hooked!

I've enjoyed what I've read from you and was SO ready to enjoy Nauti Boy. I didn't. Anal sex? It's not what I want in a woman's book. Nauti Dreams is on it's way and now I may not even bother to read it.
